Fully assembled and waiting to be painted.  We’re getting there!  Week or two out from being able to turn it on.  We’re so excited over here!

The frame of the prototype has been completed.  It’s made out of ABS plastic and laser cut heavy acrylic for the top surface.  See below pic:

HoloDragon Flight 23 initial renders.  Pretty slick looking, eh?

We learned a few things from our original HoloDragon prototype and decided to make it real. We’re making a tablet like version called HoloDragon Flight.  We hired a company out of Atlanta to help us with designing it in CAD and prototyping.  Here are some initial shots:

We were experimenting with more complex games and decided to make one of our favorites – “Settlers of Catan”.  Interacting with tablets and the touchscreen is super fast and not having to set up the board or clean up rocks!  We finished games in 15 minutes flat hah!  We’re curious what other games we can make awesome on this thing.

We added a new game.  It’s kind of like Battleship except you can move ships, drop mines, and radar areas of the board.  I love strategy games like this.  Here’s me and my friend Johnny playing on the Dell All-in-one we were experimenting with.  Do you like our use of a J.Crew box as our screen divider?

We can play Mah Jong now on the HoloDragon.  After our Scrabble like game we wanted something that we could show people in the asian community.  The games go so quick its insane.

We moved the HoloDragon prototype into the living room to the joy of my finance.  Who has anything that looks like that in their living room?!?

We wanted something spiffy so we had a splash video made.  $20 at foxlogo.net.  Neat service.  What do you think?

Finally got all the electronics in it and turned it on for the first time (couldn’t wait).  Added the logo for good measure.  Pretty awesome right?
